Our Care Staff of highly qualified carers are dedicated to ensuring residents receive the best possible attention for their daily needs. Because our home is small compared with larger suburban facilities residents receive more personal attention to wellbeing and life style. Edward River Gardens 24 hour clinical and personal carers are focused on our residents’ every need. Health, social and support needs are identified and assessed on an ongoing basis in consultation with family members and general practitioners.
Ageing in Place means you will not have to leave Edward River Gardens to seek care elsewhere as your care needs increase. Residents are able to continue living in familiar surroundings without disruption to their daily lives and the emotional stress of moving to another aged care facility. Regular assessment of every resident ensures they receive the highest standard of care at all times supported by family members and health care professionals.
Dementia Care in our Doran Memory Assistance Unit provides additional care for residents with short term memory loss as well as other related conditions such as confusion, personality change, withdrawal and the ability to do simple every-day tasks. Experienced staff reinforce this care with clinical expertise in medication administration, wound care, pain management, continence management and palliative care if needed
